Grimes graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in business management. Her work as a construction manager included job site photography, but her love of the camera led her to begin Monica Grimes Portrait Design.

Grimes's portrait art is the perfect complement to any interior design, with powerful angles and an emphasis on the beauty of natural expressions.
